Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Kimia mengenai penggunaan aplikasi modul ajar berbasis Android untuk materi hidrokarbon dalam Kimia Organik. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest. Peserta pengabdian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Kimia di sebuah universitas negeri di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan modul ajar berbasis Android secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa terhadap materi hidrokarbon. Rata-rata skor pemahaman mahasiswa meningkat sebesar 40.63%, dengan peningkatan tertinggi pada aspek kemudahan penggunaan aplikasi (62.07%). Selain itu, modul ini juga memberikan kemudahan akses dan fleksibilitas waktu belajar. Kesimpulannya, aplikasi ini efektif mendukung pembelajaran mandiri dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pada materi hidrokarbon. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan lebih lanjut aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis Android untuk mata pelajaran lain dalam Kimia Organik.
